What time is It? It’s Draft time. Nashville Tennessee is about to be lit. We are about 32 hours before The Arizona Cardinals are on the clock. Who will they draft at number 1? Is it Top Defensive Prospect Nick Bosa or Quinnen Williams or will the Cardinals trade QB Josh Rosen and Draft QB Kyler Murray. The world will be tuned in to The NFL Network, ESPN and for the first time ever, ABC. Hey it’s your boy Wayne Breezie from Nothingbutniners.com, and I’m here to bring you my official 1st round Mock Draft. Sit back, grab some popcorn, soda pop and enjoy.
With the 1st pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals select: Kyler Murray, QB, Oklahoma
This wouldn’t be much of a surprise but Kingsbury will get his guy. Expect a trade with the bengals for Josh Rosen.
San Francisco 49ers
With the 2nd pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the San Fransisco 49ers select: Nick Bosa, DE, Ohio State.
The 49ers haven’t had a pash rusher since Aldon Smith. They’re in the best position to get the best prospect.
New York Jets
With the 3rd pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the New York Jets select: Josh Allen, OLB, Kentucky
The Jets had Anthony Barr and then they didn’t. Josh Allen had a high number of sacks and he can cover. Seems like the Jets may luck out and get their guy.
With the 4th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Oakland Raiders select: Quinnen Williams, DT, Alabama Gruden/Sapp – Gruden/Williams. It’s about to go down in the Bay.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
With the 5th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select: Ed Oliver, DT, Houston
I’m not sure the current status of Gerald Mccoy, so why not draft his replacement. Even if McCoy comes back, having these two on the inside leads to pure dominance.
New York Giants
With the 6th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the New York Giants select: Devin White, LB, LSU
Who was the last linebacker you remember from the Giants, Jessie Armstead? The time is now to make a change. The best linebacker of the draft awaits at number six.
With the 7th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select: Andre Dillard, OT, Washington State
The Jags just signed their QB Nick Foles to a healthy contract, so let’s get the him best protection. Dillard is the best left tackle in the draft.
With the 8th pick of the NFL NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions select: Rashan Gary, DE, Michigan
Not sure if Ziggy Ansah will be back, but I expect a trade on draft day. Without that, they go get the home town guy and you have Flowers at one end and Gary on the other. Beasts
With the 9th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select: Cody Ford, OT, Oklahoma
He protected Kyler Murray, now let him protect Josh Allen. Allen has already proven he can get the ball out if he has some time. It’s a no brainer
With the 10th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos select: TJ Hockenson, TE, Iowa
He’s the best TE in the draft. The Broncos just signed Joe Flacco, now they give him a great option to get the ball to.
With the 11th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select: Devin Bush, LB, Michigan
Out with the old and in with the new. With Burfict gone, the Bengals get his replacement ASAP. Bush plays just as fierce and Bengals fans no longer have to worry about silly penalties.
Green Bay Packers
With the 12th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers select: Marquise Brown, WR, Oklahoma
Undersized yes, but he’s fast and he caught plenty of TD’s from Kyler Murray. The Packers lost Cobb and now they replace him with a speedy, pass catching, play making receiver. With Adams and Brown, expect fireworks from Aaron Rodgers.
With the 13th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select: Montez Sweat, DE, Mississippi St
The Dolphins need a few pieces but I think they have just enough offense to manage. They need an EDGE and Sweat is available at 13.
With the 14th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons select: Christian Wilkins, DT, Clemson
I know they need an EDGE, but being strong on the inside is just important. They get one of the best DTs in the draft.
With the 15th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Washington Redskins select: Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State
Case Keemun? Naw! Haskins is there at 15 and he is the best QB in the draft. This is a must do for the Redskins.
With the 16th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers select: AJ Brown, WR, Ole Miss
Wait a minute… AJ over DK? Absolutely. He runs better routes. Has better hands. Makes more plays and he’s a more productive receiver. In other words, check the stats. Cam could use a playmaker on the outside.
New York Giants
With the 17th pick of the 2019 Draft, the New York Giants select: Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama
An OT? Um duh! You’re gonna replace Eli soon so why not get him some of the best protection now. Barkley had a tremendous season but with this guy he will be even better.
With the 18th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select: Brian Burn, DE, Florida St
They need an edge and this is their guy. It’s simple, Burns will that bend to get to the opposing QB.
With the 19th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans select: DK Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss
Go get MM a sure threat on the outside. End of discussion.
With the 20th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, 5he Pittsburgh Steelers select: Byron Murphy, CB, Washington
The Steelers need a press corner. Murphy may be small in size but that never bothered a guy like Brent Grimes or Courtland Finnegan. Murphy is the best overall DB in the Draft – go get him Steelers.
With the 21st pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks select, Jawaan Taylor, OT, Florida
You re-signed Russell Wilson, now you’ve gotta protect him.
With the 22nd pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens select: Garrett Bradbury, C, NC State
They have a young QB, get him the best center of the draft to snap the ball and help diagnose defenses. He can run and pass block and he fits the Ravens’ scheme very well.
With the 23rd pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans select: Kaleb McGary, OT, Washington
Who was sacked 62 times last season? Hands please. QB Deshaun Watson. You have to protect the franchise.
With the 24th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Oakland Raiders select: Josh Jacobs, RB, Alabama
How is Josh Jacobs rated higher than Alabama’s starting RB Damien Harris? Simply because he’s better. Jacobs was productive and has less wear on his tires.
With the 25th pick of the 2019 NFL draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select: Jonathan Abrams, S, Mississippi St
With Malcolm Jenkins on the decline, let’s get the best physical safety in the draft. Abrams can cover, close and lay the boom.
With the 26th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts select: N’Keal Harry, WR, Arizona St
Get another receiver to compliment TY Hilton and it’s on for Andrew Luck.
With the 27th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Oakland Raiders select: Deandre Baker, CB, Georgia
Baker hasn’t given up a TD in two collegiate seasons. Raiders haven’t had a good DB since, Charles Woodson. Enough said.
Los Angeles Chargers
With the 28th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Chargers select: Drew Lock, QB, Missouri
Lock is a great prospect for a QB like Phillips Rivers to take under his wing. I like this pick for the Chargers.
With the 29th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks select: Clelin Ferrell, DE, Clemson
With the loss of Frank Clark, this is a no brainer. Get the EDGE they need late in the draft before someone else does.
Green Bay Packers
With the 30th pick off the 2019 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers select: Chauncey Gardner Johnson, S, Florida
A ball hawk – I know Fant is still on the board but they got Brown with their first pick so now get the playmaker on defense with their second .
Los Angeles Rams
With the 31st pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Rams select: Jeffery Simmons – DT – Mississippi St
If it wasn’t for his injury, he’d have gone higher than Houston’s Oliver. Since Ndamukong Suh is a free agent, and with Aaron Donald on one side of the middle, the Rams should look to Mississippi St for Suh’s replacement.
New England Patriots
With the 32nd pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots select: Noah Fant, TE, Iowa
With Gronk’s retirement this makes sense as the Patriots get the best hybrid TE in the Draft. Farewell Gronk, hello Fant.
There you have it my friends. Remember I’m no Mel Kiper or Todd Mcshay. I am Wayne Breezie from nothingbutniners.com. I hope you enjoyed my Mock Draft.
