The 49ers arrived at the opening of training camp today to get things started for the 2018-19 NFL season. The 49ers were all signed except a little receiver that a lot of the faithfuls are extremely excited about.
Dante Pettis (6-1,195) was selected by the 49ers in the second round (44th Overall) . Dante set the NCAA record for career punt returns for touchdowns (9). He was a first team all american selection and earned first team all pac-12 honors at both wide receiver and as a return specialist.
While, Mike McGlinchey inked his deal a few days ago making Dante the only player on the roster as of now to be unsigned, that is no longer the case.
This Just In, and being reported by Matt Barrows (@Mattbarrows) first , via twitter . Dante has Inked his deal with the 49ers and that makes all 9 players drafted by the team signed and ready to roll. The 49ers have no hold outs for camp and all are in attendance as well.
