The Niners became 1-6 after being embarrassed by division-rival Los Angeles Rams 39-10 at Levi’s Stadium. The highlight from my seat (in section 125) was the halftime show when Montell Jordan prefomed his hit song, “This Is How We Do It.” The Niners turned the ball over a whopping 4 times to bring their league high differential to -15. Offensively, they never could really find any rhythm all game. CJ Beathard was inaccurate through out the whole game. Matt Breida aggravated his high-ankle sprain in the first quarter, and was never really used the rest of the game — although he was productive when he was used. While Mostert had a nice game, it wasn’t enough to get it done singlehandedly. Defensively, there were some nice moments. The secondary was exposed yet again. Without Richard Sherman, Rams wide receivers were able to get open, a lot. The run-defense held their own, that is until until the 4th quarter, when they were clearly gassed. One most disappointing phases of the game was special teams. They allowed a blocked punt, although they did block one later when the game — when it was out of reach. Overall, I am extremely disappointed in how the team played Sunday. I felt with it being alumni weekend, honoring the ‘94 Super Bowl team, and playing our biggest rival, they would come out at least with a little bit of fire. Unfortunately, that couldn’t have been further from the truth.
