The San Francisco 49ers announced late on Friday that they had traded a 2019 seventh-round pick to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for offensive lineman Shon Coleman. The trade is currently pending, but once Coleman passes a physical it will be official. He was originally drafted by Cleveland in the third-round of the 2016 NFL Draft (76th overall). Since then, Coleman has appeared in 23 games, starting 16 of them. All 16 of those starts came in 2017, at the right tackle position.

Coleman finished last season with a 61.4 overall grade from Pro Football Focus.

He was drafted out of Auburn, where he was named to the Second-Team All-SEC after starting 12 games at left tackle.

The 49ers are never done wheeling and dealing with General Manager John Lynch at the helm.
