The 49ers announce some roster moves.

The 49ers have released Defensive lineman Jeremiah Valoaga. Jeremiah was brought up off the practice squad were he spent his time after not making the initial 53 man roster.

Jeremiah was called up two weeks ago to take the spot of Damontre Moore after he sustained a season ending injury and added to the teams Injured Reserve list.

The team has also announced the signing of Anthony Zettel to a 1 year deal to fill the roster spot of Valoaga. Anthony is listed at 6’4, 275lbs and has been in the league since 2016 (4 years of experience) with 3 different teams, the latest being the Bengals. During the 2016-2017 season, defensive line coach Kris Kocurek coached Zettel, continuing the trend of familiarity hires in the Shanahan regime.

Zettel, a 2016 sixth-round pick of the Lions, has 75 tackles and 7.5 sacks in 48 career games (16 starts). He was waived by the Cincinnati Bengals on Tuesday.
