Shortly after NFL Free Agency officially started on Wednesday, San Francisco 49ers General Manager John Lynch announced that the team has brought back inside linebacker Brock Coyle on a 3-year deal.

Coyle’s 3-year extension worth $8.5M base with a max value of $11.5M. He gets a signing bonus of $2.1M and $4.1M guaranteed, per Ian Rapoport.
Coyle appeared in all 16 games last season, and started 10 of those for San Francisco. He totaled .5 sacks and 36 tackles.
